Santos is worred that the Carbon Tax will hit the company hard.
"Under the policy announced today, Santos would face significant annual costs on LNG production which would not be recoverable from our customers," a spokesman for the Adelaide-based company said.
Santos is currently building the $18 billion Gladstone Liquefied Natural Gas plant in Queensland.
